Welcome to the cultural pasturelands of Sweden’s archipelago’s. The GRACE project using traditional clearance methods, burning and grazing has restored 41 islands. This has enabled the birds, flowers, bees and butterflies to return. The counties of Blekinge, Halland, Stockholm and Västra Götaland are partners in the project.
